We are a "scratch" bakery.
All our ingredients are fresh and free from any artificial flavours or preservatives,
we do not use pre-mixes, we do not par bake, and we never freeze any of our bakes.
We are proud to be traditional artisan bakers.
To avoid disappointment please order at least 2 weeks in advance of your event, collection days are Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Cake Lab Bakery is now a completely on-line business.
We are a small, family run business and we are lucky to have many loyal customers.
Please understand that we could never deal with the volume of phone calls and emails from so many customers, all orders are now via our online store.
As all our bakes are hand made, we have limited capacity and get booked up quickly.
We are a very creative, passionate, mother and daughter team who are obsessively focused on delivering a superbly enjoyable experience, from ordering, designing and delivering the very best tasting work of art possible.
We are complete opposites in terms of personality and working style which ensures every detail of the designing and baking process is covered.
Yasemin (daughter) our baker, has a B.Sc. in Baking and Pastry Arts Management, which is the highest baking qualification available in Ireland. She trained in Slice, The Cake Cafe and the Merrion Hotel among others.
Yasemin's unique design sense have inspired her handcrafted entirely edible creations, incorporating elements such as hand painting and life-like sugar flowers. She is constantly researching and refining her recipes combining professional pastry techniques with innovative modern ingredients.
Yas is the creative one, she can take a client's brief and give it a truly unique and personal finish - her nick name is "Creative Genius" as she says very little but her brain is constantly bubbling away to solve any design challenge.
Susan (Mum) has a BA(hons) Interior Architecture, she is the "structural engineer" and details person, always carries a level and measuring tape, her favourite saying is "plan ahead" and her nick name is "The Machine" as she annoys everyone with her excessive energy and new ideas.
The Cake Lab is registered with the Environmental Health Executive of Ireland and is HACCP certified.
We have been featured in many online bridal magazines, including Confetti, One Fab Day and Stellar Magazine.
We are generally elbows deep in making cakes, please allow a 48 hours response time for all emails.
All our bakes are hand made, to order, from scratch, consequently we get booked up quickly and have a limited capacity. To avoid disappointment, we recommend ordering your bakes at least 3 weeks in advance of your event.
